| A little backgroundI won suite tickets at a silent auction last year. I attended with my two adult daughters and a couple friends. In the car on the way home from the game and for the next couple days, it's all we could talk about. How exciting the game was, the fast paced action, the good plays, the questionable plays, and yes even the fighting (We were amazed to see gloves come off and until we found out, we wondered if they were "allowed" to do that) We were hooked. We haven't missed a game since and '08-'09 season tickets have been purchased. | JEFF359 wrote: | | It's time to look at the coaching staff. We have had the talent, fan support, and nothing. |

I agree entirely with these comments and I'm probably the ONE forum member with the least amount of hockey knowledge. My daughters and I (yes even my daughters) have speculated on some of Cichocki's coaching decisions. I've even been known to blurt out such comments like "I'm gonna kick his ass!" on a few occasions.

Bravo! You've accomplished more than I have. I've only looked up certain penalties in the rule book, and did some internet research on what each players job is on the ice. I agree that I am eager to know as much as I can.

Amen! I joined this forum to seek answers, ask questions, gain knowledge and share opinions. There should be more "real talk".

This is the fan I want to be. I don't know if I could gather enough courage to boo one of our own, but I'm guessing if he's really screwing up I could yell a slander or two.

I think there's way too many of these fans, but fortunately, they're only around for a couple games until they find some new boys elsewhere. You have no idea how happy I am that my daughters like the game for the game and not so they can jock on the players. Granted, they think a couple of them are cuter than others but who doesn't? I'd have to leave them at home if they made an "I love you" sign though.
